vintage models. All decals use metallic Silver or Gold ink and arrive ready to install. Every order includes two decals of the

The Precision Bass was not the first solid body fretless
guitar style electric bass available when it was introduced in 1951.
However, it was the first affordable mass produced electric bass and became one
of the best-selling electric basses of all time.
The original Precision Bass was essentially a bass counterpart to the
six-string Telecaster, sharing several of its design features.
In 1953, the Precision was restyled with contoured edges for increased player
comfort. The pickup design was also changed,
incorporating a 'split pickup' or 'staggered' design.
The Precision Bass headstock decal remained relatively unchanged from 1951 to
1965. The main differences being the
changing PAT. and DES numbers. In 1966 the Fender logo changed to the
transition style. In 1968 an all new larger headstock
decal style was adopted similar to other Fender instruments.
